Upgrading from Idealist to Realist

There’s nothing like traveling the world.

It was inevitable I’d have a different view of things now that I’m back in Colorado. After such a great adventure, I had the extreme sense that I COULD do anything and be anyone! I followed my heart and moved to the mountains to become a hippie. I fit in up here a lot better—much less pressure to be so damn “Denver-Cool.”

There’s nothing like following your dream.

Only problem is I caught myself crying on the couch over a box of cookies watching Project Runway. Remember when we used to watch it all together? That was the fuckin’ shit!

Sorry I was never a very good friend. Sorry I was always so selfish. Sorry I never knew what to say when you needed someone to say something. I wish I had a take-back. Now its too late, and I don’t have any friends.

Or love.

It took me two hours to make a profile on match.com only to realize that guys don’t look for girls like me on match.com! Besides it’s kind of hard to write in words “I want to sleep with you,” without actually saying it or using any sort of body language. I like the use of body language.

In conclusion, starting over isn’t all its cracked up to be. But I guess it’s better than being stuck in a rut? Hopefully in a week or two I’ll write about how I’m livin’ the dream.

P.S. – I sold my scooter to Geno to help start my practice.
