Impeach my Bush

The president used his veto power for the first time today. He announced his decision to not support a bill that was passed by congress. The announcement was made at the White House with a strategically chosen audience of 18 families whose children were born after using embryos from other couples seeking fertility treatment. I wonder what would have happened if he made the announcement in front of 18 people with spinal cord injuries? Or maybe 18 families who have loved ones that suffer from Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease?

In other news, more than 300 people have been killed and 500,000 others displaced in a week of Israeli attacks. Bill Gates donated $287 million to HIV/Aids research. Apple is pulling in profits from ipod sales.
